Notice of Opportunity to Submit Applications to serve on Cross Country WSC Board of Directors
Our annual meeting is just around in corner, and with that comes (3) Board of Directors seats that are up for re-election.
If you are interested in running against an incumbent for one of the available Board of Director seats, the application will be available at our office, located at the address above. Application forms will require the following information:
- The person’s name and contact information
- Biographical information about the person
- A statement of the person’s qualifications to serve as director
- A signed statement that the person is qualified under Texas Water Code Section 67.0051 as follows: (1) is at least 18 years old on the first day of the term to be filled; (2) is a member of the Corporation; (3) has not been determined by a final judgement of a court exercising probate jurisdiction to be totally mentally incapacitated or partially mentally incapacitated without the right to vote; and (4) has not been finally convicted of a felony, or if convicted, was pardoned or otherwise release from the resulting disabilities
- A statement that the person meets eligibility requirements set forth in the Bylaws of Cross Country WSC
- The person’s written consent to serve.
Applications must be turned into the office no later than Friday, March 13, 2026, in order for the applicant’s name to be placed on the ballot. All Board of Director’s will be expected to be present at the monthly board meetings currently held on specified Monday evenings at 6:30pm. Meetings typically run a couple of hours each month, but can run longer depending on the agenda items. Please be aware that the position of Director is not a paid position, and directors serve on a voluntary basis.
